Hi,

Always a good idea to keep an eye on other providers as you say. Another tip if you travel overseas is to get a local SIM card when you arrive in the overseas country. Its miles cheaper for local calls and you can tell your contacts back home to call you on the local number, saving you even more.

I haven't really had so many problems with TMobile, but then again I'm only on their network via Net10 prepaid. In this case, I really don't have to deal with a contract carrier's customer service or issues - I go straight to Net10. With Net10, the experience has been very positive and I have nothing to complain about. While I'm not saving a $100 a month, I'm saving more than $65 and I don't have an extra fees - not to mention phones are very affordable. In a year, I figure to have nearly $800 more in my pocket.

I had Tmobile for 2 yrs and the last year I had it I couldnt even use the phone service in my home. I would not recommend t mobile to anyone. I called many times the last year I had it and they could have cared less. They suggested I buy something to guarantee service in my home and I told them that when I signed my 2 yr contract I wasnt told that I wouldnt be able to get service in my home. Bad Company.
